Well, my trip to Saskatchewan was nice. We arrived in the early evening, so T and I went for a walk and waved at a few people who drove by. We didn't get to talk to anybody that night though.
The next morning my siblings went to visit people on our old block. It was sad to see the For Sale sign in front of our house. The church is trying to sell it. Our neighbour girls came running out of their house and Megan cried and hugged me for a long time. Over the week Tarja and I went to visit all the kids that we babysat most. We miss our kids. It was terribly cute when Adam nodded his head to his mom's "Do you remember them?" question. He's one of the few kids that I've gotten to watch grow up from the time he was a baby, and a big contender for "cutest kid ever".
We went to church in one of the other towns. Leah had come to SK with her family too, so we hung out with her, Cody, Elisabeth, and Evan. It was great. There was a big meal afterwards and we were given little wedding bubble things because they were church-shaped. We had fun with the bubbles.
We had to visit so many people in different towns in that short week. Our church held a supper for us one evening, which helped a lot. Dad showed pictures of our new house and Aaron. Aaron was news to the people in SK because my family was in the midst of moving when we got together.
After the supper T and I went to our soccer team's last game of the season and cheered them on. I wanted to play so badly. It was raining the entire time so I had a river running down my back before the game ended despite my fedora's best efforts. There was a windup party at Steph's, which gave T and I more opportunity to talk to everyone. It was lots of fun. We stayed with Elisabeth's family the next day.
It's so nice to be around people who have known you for years.
I really do love it here in MN too though, and am looking forward to knowing these people for years.
Our youth group went out to Lutheran Island Camp this past weekend for a mission/retreat. We had an awesome time out there, and even did some work too. ;) I was happy to get to spend a weekend at camp, even if it wasn't MY camp. No, I didn't get to visit my camp when we were in SK. Lutheran Island Camp looks promising though. The director there is friends with my dad, and asked for my e-mail address so he could send me information about counseling there. Unlike my old camp, college students can afford to work at Lutheran Island Camp for the summer. The weekly pay is the same, but LIC runs all summer. I would love to work at camp.
I am enjoying DQ too though, and am now working the register. If I could get more hours, it would be really good. But it's *really* hard to beat camp. :D
Sorry this post isn't very coherent. I tried to talk about too many different things in it.

Am I a contender for "cutest kid ever"?

You're kind of old for that contest, darlin'.
