The Feast - Friday
(Sorry, Seth. This is the last one)
Friday morning none of us at our table felt very hungry at breakfast. Aaron wrote postcards and gave me two to give to Kennedy and Ethan, but we ended up seeing them before Aaron had to leave.
The day was filled with goodbyes. It started with Aaron before choir, and RachelD at catechesis.
It was during lunch that day that Ethan and I decided we should start a MH monastary.
Ethan- "There is a sad lack of poking here."
So we poked each other and cut down everyone at the table with our lightsabers, but it was only half-hearted.
Paul and Nat ran away, I just said bye to Ethan and Andrew then. Tarja and I shopped in the bookstore until it was time for the closing service. we got to say bye to RachelE one more time there.
The closing service was absolutely beautiful. Wow.
After the service I went outside and said bye to the MHers I found there. Then it was over. Tarja and I went to find out group. (Dad had already gone ahead to pick up our van in Wyoming.) Then I started crying. Cody laughed at me and Pr. S asked if I was ok. I was fine, just sad to be leaving. We went to the dorms and grabbed our stuff. As we finished packing the van, Paul and Ethan yelled bye to Tarja and me one more time, which did a lot to cheer us up.
Our group stopped at Wal-Mart on the way out of town and I bought a lightsaber so I wouldn't have to use my brother's anymore. Grey bought one too so I even had someone to duel.
We spent three hours in Denver looking for a place to eat and ended up leaving without supper. Crazy...
The next evening I arrived home.

I missed the closing service. <_<
What's this about a an HT/MH monastery? Why wasn't I informed of this sooner? You did plan for me to be the guy in charge, right? ;P
No mention of the fact that you farced me to stick around saying goodbye forever before you abandoned me because I had to leave? ;-) ;-) ;-)

I guess that was one good thing about missing The Feast... I didn't have to say goodbye to anybody. I hate saying goodbye. It ends up feeling so unfulfilling.
I noticed you left out the part where I was bawling like a baby when we were saying goodbye. Heh.
(I'm blaming that on the fact that I was either sick or had severe exaustion on Friday. Yeah, that's the ticket. [Also, thank you for bringing me that Advil during choir. It was a total lifesaver.])
Aaron: I *did* tell you about the monastery. :P Don't you think Ethan and I know better than to put you in charge? ;)
Seth: If you're trying to find an excuse to be happy about missing the Feast you can ignore this. Otherwise, isn't it better to have fun and say goodbye than to not?
Rachel: You almost made me cry too. Exhaustion does do that to people, but I don't have a problem with it under those circumstances. I forgot about the Advil! You're welcome.
